Simply Ayzen is a sushi restaurant in the Tenleytown area of Washington, DC. According to the waitress who served me, they've been open for two years.
I only had a few pieces of sushi here because I was planning on making dinner at home that day, but I will definitely be back for more!
For sushi, I had:
- Unagi - good, a little fatty.
- Sake - great.
- Craw fish - not my favorite, I wouldn't have ordered it but my wait staff recommended it.
Here's the breakdown:
- Staff: Friendly and courteous, almost too attentive, but I was there so early I was the only person there at the time.
- Cleanliness: Very clean, including the rest rooms. Note: men's bathroom had a baby changing station - bonus points!!
- Food: Like I said, I only had a few pieces of sushi, but it was very fresh and tasty.
- Price: I was there during the "happy hour", so the prices were great. Since I'm on a serious budget these days, I'll stick with "happy hour" dining for now.
