Black Market Bistro

Black Market Bistro Sign

Black Market Bistro is a charming and quaint restaurant in Garrett Park, Maryland.

I dined there tonight with my mother and we had an awesome dinner.

To me, the restaurant is "quietly confident". Its clean, well presented, and comfortable. They have an extensive wine collection, and the food is marvelous.

I had a smoked salmon and potato latke appetizer, a cup of roasted squash soup, and pork tenderloin with chopped cabbage and bacon topped with diced pears for my entrée.

The salmon was better than any I'd tasted in a long time and a perfect match with the latke. The soup was delicious as well as another perfect match for the tenderloin.

Its only been a few hours since my meal there, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I've since been back to the Black Market Bistro, and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time I went. I had veal and it was sooo good! I'm psyched because I think I'm going to go again this weekend!
