Every once in a while I get to do some dinner experiments on my nephews. The youngest is a tank and will eat anything, but the 2 year old has started getting picky. He will eat pasta all day, but it’s hard to get him to eat chicken unless it’s in pasta. Even then, most of the chicken ends up on the floor, which then is eaten by the dog. I’m not cooking for the dog. So, here’s my recipe.
15-20 precooked nuggetts
1 cup water
3 tablespoons teryaki sauce (next time i am substituting orange juice)
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup cinnamon applesauce
takes about 20 minutes…
Put your nuggetts in the oven
bring the water and teriyaki to a boil
add the honey and give it a minute to dissolve and bring the heat to low
add the applesauce
stir it in good
Throw your cooked nuggets in a big enough tupperware dish and pour the sauce on top Shake it up and serve it.
I guess this is kind of a no brainer, but it absolutely killed. I bet i could have put any kind vegetable in, but I didn’t think that far ahead.

This recipe reminds me of some chicken wings I had way back in the day made from honey and soy sauce. They were awesome and I've tried reproducing the recipe to no-avail. I think I am missing the secret ingredient!
