Quincy Jade

Honestly, I didn’t know the Quincy Jade had relocated. I remember years ago, it was on the corner of Hancock and Cottage, but had since closed and become Albas. So, I was surprised when I went for drinks next door at Tullys Cafe, and I saw it there. Of course after the bar closed I was pretty happy it was. It’s under new ownership and the food was good. Generally, after living in San Francisco, I stay away from traditional Chinese, because I just don’t know enough about what I’m ordering to get it right. The people I was with knew what they were doing. I believe we had Hot and Sour Beef Soup. I could be wrong since they were speaking Chinese and I had been drinking Pabst. But Basically, it was thin cuts of lamb and beef that you would dunk in side by side soups.

That sounds delicious. Quincy has great Chinese, my favorite is Quincy Dynasty.
